Morning light filters across quiet waters, afternoons invite you to completely unplug, and evenings naturally center around connection with the people who matter most.
Every square foot of the retreat is designed to cultivate this slower, more deliberate rhythm. It is a space where daily life distractions effortlessly fade away,
leaving room for presence, rest, and shared laughter.

The Origins of Acorn Cove
Originally constructed in 1980 by a devoted husband and father, these walls were built to house a decades-long love story and raise two daughters.
When we discovered the home in 2023, it had fallen into disrepair. Following the passing of both parents, the sisters placed the property on the market in hopes of finding someone to breathe new life into it. During that first viewing, we just knew our family was meant to steward it. We stepped forward with our offer, paired with a sacred promise to honor the home's heritage through our restoration.
We invite you to step back in time and witness where our journey begins.
Rooted in Resilience
We intentionally chose not to rush the renovation. Instead, we spent time getting to know the home in its original, retro state—even entertaining friends and family within its walls.
Then, in May 2024, just one week into the work, Mother Nature introduced an unexpected chapter. A surprise storm swept across Lake Palestine, sending a tornado directly through our neighborhood. While the home itself sustained damage, our grounds bore the heaviest hit. The original boathouse and two outbuildings were entirely lost.
Most devastatingly, the storm claimed several of the mature oak trees that defined the property's canopy. Though we carefully tended to and saved the trees left standing, you can still see the scars of the storm written into the remaining branches.
We invite you to view the raw moments immediately following the storm.
